Life has cycles, it is dynamic, we always experience changes and seasons, some will be good and others not so good, but necessarily and with purpose.
To walk safely in life is to understand what happens depends not on you but on God and always in the midst of all his will is good, pleasant and perfect.
When you depend on God, learn to be grateful, not for what He gives or happens to you, you are grateful at all times. You understand me?
