WHEN GOD SAYS NO

Matthew 26:39

Jesus is at a crucial moment in his life. The time arrived for him to go to the cross. Nevertheless, he decides to go to a private place to have an intimate conversation with the Father. Those conversations where we make requests and we want more than anything to receive a good response, in other words receive a YES, but after a moment of silence the response we hear is a NO.

Jesus received God’s silence as a: “Son, you must go to the cross. There is no other way.” Jesus was obedient and fulfilled the Father’s will. This makes me think: “What will our response or attitude be if we are facing a NO from God?

I cannot tell you right now why God says NO many times, but what I can tell you is that he is never wrong and that his response will always be the correct one which will guide us toward the fulfillment of his purpose in us.

A NO from God in answer to our prayers is always a YES to his providential purposes.  

God always arrives JUST IN TIME
