Once, I heard that in the face of temptation “it is better for them to say: «here, he fled» than «here, he fell»”, many times, we ignore the road signs or the received advices, thus ending up deviating from God’s plan and delaying the processes.
God is always willing to help us and even more when there are moments of temptation, He always has a way out but you must make the decision, be careful with what deviates you from His purpose, remember that it may seem good but it is not.
Take refuge in the Lord, and in Him, endure everything that tempts you, only God gives you the sure victory.
