SERIES: LETTERS FROM PRISON

Philippians 4: 6-9

The mind is often treated as «the madwoman in the house», we can be listening to something and have the mind occupied with thousands of other ideas, therefore, when something governs our mind, it will have control of the whole body as well.

Imagine being in a complicated situation like the one the apostle Paul was in, in prison, full of only bad news and worries, if he only fed his mind with despair and anxiety, how do you think his daily reactions would be in front of the life and still in front of God? It would only be of complaint and anguish.

But this was not the way of life that he adopted, he was able to take advantage of every moment and completely place his trust in the Lord, understanding that even when he was in prison there was a purpose and he was not going to decay.

He gave us a very important advice: do not worry, rather use the time and pray to God, learn to give thanks and then occupy your mind in what edifies and strengthens you.

God always arrives JUST ON TIME
