Everything has a beginning and an end, nothing is left hanging around just because, we need to go back to where it all began.
A cycle is a repetitive space of time, leaving it open can cause stumbling blocks along the way. Satan will know how to use your own arguments against you so that you continue in a vicious circle and never enjoy the freedom that this new life in Christ provides.
It is necessary to close and settle all pending arguments, the cycles are closed, the stages are burned and give way to a new level of growth in Christ.
Knowing and being aware that you have to close cycles or break them places you in the need to forgive. A forgiveness granted is a cycle that closes.
It is not so much how we begin but how we end.
The end of something is worth more than its beginning. Ecclesiastes 7:8
