Jeremiah 17:9-10 N.L.T
There is nothing more deceitful than the heart and trusting in it alone is a grave mistake, a heart that does not have God as its master is a walking danger.
The bible advises us this: don’t trust in yourself, don’t trust in everything your heart wants to dictate to you because it is deceitful.
Daily we see disastrous results of decisions guided by the heart, children rising up against their parents and parents against their children, for there is envy, bitterness, pain and other things that are like poison expressed through words and actions.
A hard heart expresses only lies and insincerity to such an extent that even the tears expressed are only a vain and passing expression without any repentance.
What is in your heart?
