Luke 16:19-31 N.L.T
Not everything ends when we die, there is only a separation from this earth, I want you to know that everything we live here and now will pass, it is temporary and therefore, to love the temporary is to discard the eternal.
Jesus gives us a living example of how important it is to learn to live life every day without taking our eyes off the eternal, whatever happens, and I say: whatever happens, because we can experience times of abundance and times of scarcity, but that does not determine the end of everything.
Through a story Jesus teaches us the end of two men whose life on earth was not the same, one enjoyed everything that someone would like to have while the other called Lazarus only had ailments, illness and economic crisis, one never helped the other, however, when the same thing happened to both of them: they died, their end was different, not because of the condition in which they were materially but because of what was in the heart of each one.
What is in our heart?
Remember that there is an eternity.
God is always JUST IN TIME.
