Changing man from the outside is the same as treating a leak in the house with a new mop and bucket, you can change the mop every day and the problem will always remain, because to remove the leak you have to go to the root.
The problem with human methods to try to heal the heart is that they do not heal, they are only short emotional times, but the root is never uprooted, that is something that only God can do. Therapies and other things only lead to endless and harmful cycles that begin with guilt, remorse and partial forgiveness and then relapse, instead, what God does is that He forgives us and MAKES US NEW CREATURES (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God always arrives RIGHT ON TIME.
