LUKE 15: 15-18
How far can we go in our stubbornness or pride? Hitting ourselves and getting up again to make the same mistakes and continue to suffer, it seems that we like to live by trial and error, but is that what God calls us for? I don’t think so, we are the ones who walk away and unfortunately until we hit rock bottom, it is difficult for us to recognize that we need Him.
This is what happened to the young man in this story, better known as the prodigal son, he had to get to the point of being face to face with the pigs to remember that he did not belong there and that in the house of his father there was plenty of bread.
How far down are you going to fall or what else do you want to try or experience?
Don’t wait to be face to face with the pigs, today you have an opportunity to remember how much God loves you and that there is still hope.
