GOD WANTS TO HEAL YOU

Luke 5:12-13

The bible talks to us about a man with a contagious disease called leprosy, a disease that had taken him to live far away from his family and from society.

He was a frustrated and rejected man because of his condition, yet, Jesus arrived at that place to show us in a very particular manner that there is no disease or sin that God cannot heal or forgive.

Many stayed away from this man because of fear, but Jesus did the opposite, he got closer.

The same thing happens with sin, it makes us stay away from God’s plan so we live a life of suffering far away from all truth and freedom; nevertheless, no matter how condemned and far away from God we find ourselves to be, God draws close to us to give us his life and a new opportunity.

This man, when he drew close to Jesus, his only petition was: “If you want to, you can clean me.” Do you know what this expression means? 

It was as though he would have said: “You cannot only heal me physically, you can return my life back to me, you can make it happen that I return to my family,  that I embrace my children, to get a new beginning. Recover what the leprosy has taken away from him.

God is the only one that can help you to rise up, and give you a new beginning, but it’s up to.

Today, God tells you: “Yes, I want to clean you.  

God always arrives JUST IN TIME
