John 15:5
A branch that falls and detaches from the tree to which it belonged cannot survive, let alone bear fruit, this same comparison is taken by Jesus to explain to us that our life without Him is meaningless nor will it allow us to produce true fruit that remains.
We can try to achieve everything we want but that does not mean that we will reach the goal and bear fruit, living for what we were created for is what makes us effective but for this to happen we must be intentional, intentional in abiding in God, it is not just about believing but abiding and it is then that God will also abide in us and lead us to be productive and live life with meaning.
Be intentional and make the decision to abide in God.
