SERIES: LETTERS FROM PRISON
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I repeat, rejoice! Let the whole world see that they are considerate in everything they do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon.
PHILIPPIANS 4: 4-5 ntv
What would our attitude be if we were in jail for something we did not commit, or if we received bad news that we consider we do not deserve to receive because «we have behaved well», how would we react to each of these circumstances?
It is a good question, because generally our reactions are the result of what we consider to be good or bad.
We go through life facing ups and downs and at the end of each season we feel powerless and we consider that happiness was for the moment, we express that the good does not last forever or that happiness either.
The bible tells us about something deeper than happiness, it tells us about Joy, because it does not depend on what moment we spend but on who we trust and depend on, that is, on God.
We must today more than ever learn that joy is better than happiness, which is only a small expression of joy. The bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength and that the only way to remain joyful and joyful is to surrender our life to God and remain in Him.
God always arrives JUST ON TIME
