JUDGES 16:21
No one has the power to decide for you, in the end you always have the blessing to have the last word in every decision you make, so you decide.
This is applicable to everything, God gave us the blessing to be able to think and make decisions and as every blessing, it also brings with it responsibility.
Every decision brings consequences and remember, it will always be your responsibility, not anyone else’s. SAMSON made decisions in his life and in the end, he paid the consequences of these, he avoided God’s advice and lived his own way, he walked away from God’s plan for his life and ended up in the consequences of everything he once chose.
I believe that history is not written just because, it has a reason and purpose and that is to show us what we should not repeat, we need to learn.
When you turn away from the Lord you tend to go back to what was in your old nature, sin.
Sin causes the following effects just as it did in SANSON’s life:
It takes you captive
It takes away your vision
It changes your location (SANSON was taken from Israel to Gaza).
It binds you
It oppresses you
It Shames you
God always comes JUST IN TIME
