SERIES: DEAD OF ANGER

Proverbs 4:23 N.L.T

Anger has another very particular characteristic: It leads us to hold everything in our hearts and go to the point of denial so that we do not confess it, until we explode and become offensive and destructive.

Anger stored in the heart is a deadly poison.

An example of this was Absalom son of King David, he kept in his heart what his brother had done to his sister making him yielding but violent on the inside.

Unconfessed anger that you hold in your heart will always bring devastating consequences such as strife and death.

Unconfessed anger gives rise to the spirit of Absalom which rises up with certain deceptive and perverse characteristics to achieve one end: to destroy, to take revenge and to do «justice» in its own way.

Absalom’s anger not only led him to devise a plan against his brother until he ended up killing him, but also provoked in him a rebellion dressed in manipulation and deceit to the point of dishonouring his father, leaving him in shame, winning the hearts of the people for selfish ends and thus taking away his kingdom, and why not also, taking his life.

Don’t let it happen to you, give your heart to Jesus and discover that his love is there to heal and give you an abundant life free from resentment and pain.

God is always JUST IN TIME.
