DEUTERONOMY 8:10-14 NIV

There are terrains that seem firm but when you step on them you realise that they were flimsy, quicksand, dangerous terrain.

There is a great danger that can present itself in life, this danger is abundance, it seems a mistake to put it this way but it is not so. Someone once told me that the greatest test of man’s character is not to have nothing but to have everything, and that is where it strongly tests how firm our faith and dependence on God is.

God Himself exhorted the people of Israel, reminding them of the same thing: be careful when you are in plenty, lest you forget me.

Abundance can be quicksand if you don’t discern where to put your feet, trusting in the treasures of this world can make you sink deeper and deeper to the point of forgetting that it is only by the grace of God that we are what we are.

Don’t forget!

God always comes JUST IN TIME
