2 TIMOTHY 1:7
We always end up in trouble when we try to do things or solve them impulsively, letting ourselves be ruled by feelings or emotions will never make life easier for us, the heart of man is deceptive and perverse, that is why letting ourselves be ruled by what we feel or what the heart says is not right.
Paul gives Timothy a great advice: do not let yourself be ruled by emotions, learn to trust God because He is the One who gives you power, love and self-control, do not be afraid to face problems, stand still and look ahead, but always remember that your strength comes from God so don’t be impulsive, put-on self-control.
A person without self-control is like a city without walls, it is easy prey for enemies and will be plundered, destroyed again and again.
Do not be impulsive, ask God today to give you self-control.
