Genesis 2:1-3
We live in a world which is oriented toward action. It seems as though time is short, and we need to do and do. We have fallen in the stress and preoccupation trap putting aside God’s advice regarding the importance of learning how to rest and trust.
The less we trust, the less we rest and the more we worry. Lack or rest, lack of relaxation brings sickness, pain, ailments, and even death itself. God teaches us that rest is important, Jesus taught it too; he taught us the importance of learning how to trust in order to learn how to rest.
We need to remember that we have a father who loves us, who sustains us, therefore, we can rest in his loving arms. The moments of rest refresh us, and moreover, those moments are already blessed by God so you will not have anything lacking when you rest and trust.
God always arrives JUST IN TIME
