We are always determined to do whatever we want, as children we always seek independence, we grow up with a chip against subjection to authority.
If my parents hadn’t lovingly corrected me in different ways, I wonder:
Would I be here today?
Avoiding correction so as not to disturb children is a grave mistake, discipline in God is synonymous of their love.
We must learn to differentiate the mistreatment of correction, mistreatment is not right, but that does not mean that physical contact becomes an excuse to avoid correcting our children.
The Bible gives us wise advice about timely correction and in love and the importance of doing it correctly by reminding us that even if it hurts it is necessary to straighten their ways.
Hebrews 12:11 teaches that discipline is not well received but bears fruits of blessing.
God always arrives JUST IN TIME
