WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
This is an interesting question and more when it comes from God, imagine that you would hear that voice from heaven asking you the question: what do you want me to do for you? You would say this is my moment and you would start asking for everything that comes to mind!
Have people ever approached you because you have something to give them?
How did you feel about it? I think the answer is: USED, now think that you have done the same thing over and over again every time you get closer to God, instead of looking for a father-son relationship, we are after what you can give us.
Jesus criticized this and exhorted people because they were only looking for their benefit and not really what was important: THE LIFE that was in Him.
You can read it in John 6: 22-70.
That this is not our reality today, Jesus is more than food, drink or clothing, HE IS LIFE, that is why I ask you the question: What are you looking for?
That your motivation is not what God can give you but what HE IS.
God always comes RIGHT ON TIME
