Micah 7:11

It seems like living day by day without dreaming is becoming paramount.

We have hidden behind the phrase “it doesn’t cost anything to dream” so we stop dreaming because the material situations that present  themselves to us are stronger, so at the end we decide to “throw in the towel”, give up, not continue, or even worse: we get used to living without hope.

 A city without walls is an easy prey for the enemy and for those who want to rob it or harm it.

The walls symbolize shelter, trust, strength. A city without walls is finished. This is what was happening with Jerusalem and God told them: “You need to restore yourself so you can extend your territory.”

Sometimes we think that we are fine so we don’t need restoration; nevertheless, each time we want to move forward, we stop, each time that crisis strikes us we give up; each time depression comes we fall into it; each time impotency visits us we throw in the towel and we do not get to grow.

Now, do you know why all this happens? Because we are an easy prey, there are no walls around us. We are helpless, we live without God in our heart.

Psalms 3 says: “God is a shield around us!” The question today is: “Are you willing to allow God to be that wall around you;” in other words, “would you allow God to take control of your life so he can safeguard your heart and take you to his purpose?”

An unprotected heart it is a finished life. Perhaps you say, “I am fine,” and you believe that protecting yourself from people so you will not suffer is your solution, let me tell you that you are a step away from your own destruction. Can the same thing that harm you for years, be the same thing you are using to protect yourself? Hum! I don’t think so. Do you understand me?

To restore means to return everything to its original state.

Only God can do this in you.

Take the determination today.
