THE QUARRY OF GOD

1 Peter 2: 5

Many artifacts that you use at home and that are very useful have a history, they had a beginning, a place where they were formed and forged so that today we can enjoy them. Have you ever wondered why the glass you like to use to drink your tea had to go through the process? Right? Maybe you are not interested because it is already in your hands and you can use it, that’s the way it is with people, we quickly judge what they are or do because we don’t know where they came from. We know the glory but not the history.

It is easy to judge, speak, express opinions of others and things when we do not go through the process, which feels good to just arrive and impose but we do not like to go through the training process.

Today I want to tell you about the QUARRY, that place where rich and «raw» materials are found to be carved, molded, worked, beaten, crushed but that in the end shine, the quarry is the place where history is made and that is where God He wants to take you, his quarry, his place of processes because you are a living stone that God will use to build his house.

1 kings 6: 7 mentions that the stones used to build the temple, came out lists and lists from the quarry, if this was a physical temple, now imagine the spiritual one?

1 Peter 2: 5 mentions that we are living stones that God uses to build his spiritual temple, that is, a place where He lives so we are those stones, we are going to be taken to the quarry so that we are useful instruments and prepared to be carriers of the glory of God.

It is up to you if you let yourself be found and taken to the quarry, we need to be processed in God’s quarry. I’ll just let you try, you’re in his hands and you’re safe there.
