READ this word of God carefully:
It is easy to forget God when everything is going well, when one is full and has to eat, when one has a good house and many cattle, gold and silver. When people have more and more, they become proud and forget about God. So be careful! Do not forget that God brought you out of Egypt, where you were slaves. Do not forget either that in the desert he gave you bread from heaven to eat, a food that your ancestors did not know.
Keep in mind that God sent you all these tests for your good. If they forget this, they may come to think that everything they have and enjoy they have achieved through their own efforts. Rather, they should remember that it was God who gave them all this and that he did it to fulfill his promise to our ancestors. I assure you that if you forget God, you will die.
Deuteronomy 8: 12-14, 16-19 TLA
How easy it is to forget God, an example of this is what we are today as human beings: envy, jealousy, bitterness, strife, hardened hearts, malice, death, we are the architects of today’s reality, we have taken God out of the institutions and now it is our laws that we have placed as a foundation, a weak foundation that goes towards destruction every day.
We say we believe and at the same time deny our actions, we are full of prejudices and worse still, we believe we have the authority to be gods and judge who should live because of what is bad, but we do not realize that we are also bad because we remove God from our house .
I invite you to reflect, meditate where are you today and if tomorrow I will arrive where will you end up?
