How easy it is for us to become attached to things, we become attached to money, property, material things and the people we love or those we expect a lot from and when they don’t live up to our expectations, we end up disappointed.
This happened to the prophet Samuel when he was expecting how Saul would be as king of Israel, he had high expectations of his reign but in the end he was hurt when Saul time and again failed to take advantage of the opportunities God had given him.
Maybe the same thing has happened to you and you have held on so tightly that you have found it hard to let go, but today there is a question for you: how long will you mourn Saul?
God is always JUST IN TIME.
