Exodus 24: 12-16
Learning to listen costs, we are so full of thoughts, arguments, strengths in our minds that the first thing we do when listening is to interpret in our own way what we hear.
How many times have we made the mistake of reacting wrongly to something we hear, that is, we are always predisposed, on the defensive, nullifying the truth in every word we receive.
When God speaks the same thing happens to us, we interpret what He said in our own way, that is, we do what we think and believe what we want to hear, not what He really told us and there we fill ourselves with misconceptions to such an extent that After the mistake, we get angry with God because we feel that he failed us when we really misunderstood because we were not aligned to his will but to our emotion.
God brought Moses to 6 days of silence before speaking important things to him, obedience is in knowing how to listen and for that reason the silence and the treatment of God are indispensable.
