Who taught you that you should repeat the history of your family?
The bible clearly teaches us that God gave each person the ability to choose and live by the decisions they make, it is true, perhaps today you are experiencing something difficult due to the consequences of the bad decisions that your parents made, but that does not mean that you have to live like they lived.
Today there is a new opportunity, there is life, therefore there is hope, however, you choose.
Don’t believe the lie that you have to repeat history, there is always opportunity. the bible says that so that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away and all are made new, do you know what it all means? easy, there is a new story that God wants to write with you and that you can give a good inheritance to your children.
In the initial text of Ezekiel chapter 20 it clearly mentions that each person, be it a son or a father, each one will be responsible for his actions and for such will be judged.
God will not judge your life for the mistakes of your parents, but you will have to be judged for your own decisions.
Once again, you decide.
