IT BEGINS WITH YOU

Luke 6:36-38

It seems that there is something in common that we all human beings have, something that we seem to like and that is to have control of things over which we can exercise some kind of judgment, in other words, we are easy to extend the finger and point out that others are the ones who are wrong and we are the good ones who are always right, but there is nothing further from reality than this, because, whenever we look for mistakes in others we are most likely trying to prevent others from finding out about ours.

How easy we are to measure others and not measure ourselves, Jesus expressed it this way:

You will be measured with the same stick you are measuring others.

and also, at another time he added the following:

first take out the log that is in your own eye before you take out the speck that is in your neighbor’s eye.

We must learn to be careful in what we judge because in the same way and intensity with which we did it, they will do it to us. We must learn in love to correct and before exercising judgment, to help, to restore, to reconcile.

All this is possible if we begin with ourselves by having Christ in our hearts.

God always comes JUST IN TIME.
