LUKE 7:11-15
There are times when circumstances are going to be so hard that we will feel like we are going to faint. Situations which will knock us down so hard that we will feel like our faith is gone and our faith is disappearing. But we will also see that during those moments, Jesus is there to remind us of his love, mercy, and faithfulness.
The Bible mentions a woman who had lost her husband and now, the only thing she had left, her son, was death. Let us imagine how broken this woman was that, although she was facing Jesus, she did not run to him. She was completely locked up in her world of pain. It was Jesus himself who approached her and gave her comfort.
God understands when those moments arrive in which we experience there is no comfort, moments in which we feel like fainting; but he is there.
Jesus arrived to meet her, just as he arrives to meet you. By expressing a few words, he had her dead son come back to life. Today, a word from God is sufficient to return your faith to you and raise you from what you had considered dead. In Christ, there is life for you today.
