Today we hear so much preaching about being prosperous that we have forgotten the main message, the good news that Jesus gave us by announcing that He has a new life for all who come to Him.
Today we have forgotten about the Cross of Christ, I am not talking about the wood but about what happened there, the cross of Christ marked the end of the human life of Jesus to manifest the eternal.
This same thing must happen in every person who decides to believe in Jesus, he must take up his cross and say goodbye to the past life, understand that we must have true repentance and renounce the sin of the past life.
There is only forgiveness in God when we go to the cross and die, ending who we were and entering into God’s intended purpose for each person.
Today’s message shows us a new cross that does not lead the human being to die, to say goodbye to his sin, rather it leads him to rehabilitate his fallen nature, therefore time and time again he continues sinning and falling, although it is similar the message is not the same, the message of the «new cross» is easy, full of philosophies that only move emotions, it is a message that sounds nice but it deceives and leads to total failure.
We must return to the original message, the cross of Christ, the one of which Paul wrote and of which he said: I am crucified with Christ.
To live a new life, it is necessary to die to the old one, let us return to the message of the Cross.
